Hey I'm interested in more being exposed around the email functionality in hub via API and mcp so I can work on email campaigns agentically, read what I already have set up in hub and adjust things.
We're running an automated scoring agent against the Decile API using our API token. Right now, the token has full read/write access to everything. Do you support scoped or limited-permission API tokens? For example, one that can read deals and write only tags, notes, and custom data point fields, but cannot delete records or change deal stages? If not, is this on your roadmap?
I am trying to set permissions to access three different tiers of information in my data room. So far, I've wasted quite a bit of time following DEX's suggestions to restructure my data room into three folders below the top-level folder. DEX suggested setting permissions on a folder basis, which apparently isn't possible; it now suggests setting permissions at the top level, as stated below. But I cannot see the settings gear nor the paper clip that DEX refers to. Also see the attached screenshot. Any ideas? What the Community Knowledge Base Actually Says
Permissions are set at the top-level folder level only. All files within a top-level folder share the same viewing permissions. There is no per-subfolder permission control. (Source: Decile Hub Support)
The "Allow viewers" dropdown and the paperclip icon (to copy a shareable URL) are confirmed controls, but they appear to be on top-level folders viewed in their settings page, not on the nested subfolder list you're looking at in your screenshot. The subfolders 01 - Introduction, 02 - Fund Details, and 03 - Due Diligence are children of the Quidnet Ventures Fund II top-level folder, so they all share the same permissions as that parent.
What This Means for Your Three-Tier Setup
To have three different permission levels, you need three separate top-level folders, each with its own settings. The practical approach:
Click into each top-level folder (e.g., Quidnet Ventures Fund II) from the left nav, rather than viewing its subfolders. The settings controls (including "Allow viewers") should appear at that level.
Create three separate top-level folders if you want truly independent permission tiers, one per stage (Introduction, Fund Details, Due Diligence), and move the relevant subfolders into each.
For the paperclip icon specifically, the community confirms it appears next to folder names but it may only be visible when hovering over the folder name, or it may appear in a different view. I'd recommend reaching out to Decile support directly at decilehub.com/base/8-hub_support with a screenshot, since they can see your exact account configuration and UI version.
Question/Request for navigation - For compact format, can I have the "deals" be shown instead of "backoffice"? I rarely use backoffice, and I'm using investor pipepline and deals a lot more frequently. At the moment, i need to click on expand to get to deal. - When i click on investor or deals pipeline, I do'nt want to go to dashboard. I want it to go the pipeline view right away. How do I do this? I don't find dashboard as helpful at the moment.
Hello, I'm looking to generate a capital account statement for an LP. When I select Statement Export, the dropdown for Capital Accounts shows duplicate names for each LP. I'm still able to get what I need, but it's just a bug I thought I'd bring to your attention. Best, Eric
Getting this error. Situation is - I sent my Q2 update newsletter. All was great. I clicked on "Deliveries" and then "edit e-mail templates" and then the newsletter updated to a draft version, which appears to also have been sent out. now it appears that I can't re-edit, see the content, or send to additional recipients
Hi, as for the public website - fully understand it is being retired from Decile Hub, however: 1. Could you please set it active for another few weeks so we can build and set the DNS correctly? 2. Unfortunately I don't have the backup of the final version of our website - would HIGHLY appreciate the opportunity to get the latest snapshot of it.
What is the different between Status and Stage for the investor commitments table?
Does the Status for a given Stage, that is, once it is closed for a given stage, the status will change to, say 'in progress' for the next stage, etc. Can someone please confirm?
Why can someone be in 'In progress' in a 'Declined' Stage?
Hello, I'm trying to print a capital account statement from inception, and instead of the header stating the date of fund inception, it states Jan 01, 1926. Appreciate your help in fixing this.
